Review

The latest version of this software will soon be reviewed by our
informers.
QIP 2005, Build 8070 is an Internet instant messenger.
The program can be run in English or Russian.
Once the program is installed, you must enter your ICQ or AIM username and password to begin using it. If you´re not registered in the QIP network, you can register an account from within the program.
You will then see a window with all your contacts from ICQ or AIM. The program will have the same appearance and functions from the original ICQ program, with some add-ons.
When one of your contacts become online, you will hear a "knock knock" sound from your speakers. If any contact sends a message to you, you will hear a "uh oh" sound.
You can chat with an online contact, using animated emoticons, colored fonts and special effects.
You can also send a file to your contact, access your favorite URLs, view your message history. You can even Password Protect the messages with a certain user, only if that user has QIP installed.
During the chat you will be able to quote the last received message, and to answer with a predefined message. |
- It´s a nice alternative to ICQ, with some added features.
